THE ETERNAL FLAME

My soul has been touched by her fire,
And I shall never be the same.
As Eloise or Shibar, in darkness or light,
She burns an eternal flame.
Her movements tell a story, that began so long ago.
Of wisdom, of virtue, of ecstasy – of a truth we all know.
She weaves for us a tale, spinning into infinity.
The crowd surrounds her, in awe, fascinated by
Her divinity. She inspires us all, through the
power of her dance. Breathing passion and fire
she pulls us into her trance.

…As the music subsides,
the pulse retains its heavy beat.
Ruptured applause breaks the spell,
As she returns to her feet.

There’s more to life then this day-to-day,
As the eternal flame will show
Illuminated by dance, rhythm, and passion,
Our own light and love will grow.

My torch has been lit by your fire,
And I shall never be the same.
Shibar, we are graced by your presence,
And your glowing, Eternal Flame.

DARK SHELIA

Shelia Dark Shelia
What is it that you're seeing
What is it that you're seeing
That you're seeing in the fire

I see a lad that loves me
And I see a lad that leaves me
And a third lad, a shadow lad
And he's the lad that grieves me.
